Researchers Uncover 25 Countries Using Surveillance Software

     In the US we have a right to our privacy, and one can be penalized by law for not respecting this basic right. However, other countries that have questionable pasts on human rights, don't enforce this right, in fact 25 governments have been revealed to spy on its citizens via surveillance software.  

     This was discovered by security researcher at citizen lab,Morgan Marquis-Boire, at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs, and Bill Marczak, a computer science doctoral student at the University of California, Berkeley. They volunteered to investigate some suspicious emails and then discovered surveillance software that could grab images off computer screens, record skype conversations, and turn on cameras and microphones. One year later they discovered the program has been running off servers in 25 countries without oversight. The program "Finspy" was found in he code.

Facebook Boasts New News Feed Design

Facebook recently announces the new redesign of its news feed this Thursday. Mark Zuckerberg calls it a "Personalized Newspaper" which will allow the user to pick which topics they're interested in. It makes articles, pictures, and images bigger to make them easier to see on a mobile device. I personally think this change is due to the decline in Facebook users but I'm not sure.

time travelling

If i could travel back to any time in history I could change the world... I could make it a better place, a safer place, a less hurtful place. I could make a world where every man could live in harmony and peace with his fellow humans, I could stop violence, war, and cruelty. So I decided to go back to the beginning of this period. Imagine all the good i could('nt) do if i went back! I could give myself a better idea of what to write on this essay, I could do...other things. I could go outside and buy groceries or get a new shirt.... Then I could takeover the universe.
